The New Mickey Mouse Club Renaissance Project

It is always wonderful to see a child meet their favorite Disney character for the first time. Their eyes light up as they greet a Disney character to give them a hug, take a picture and perhaps get an autograph. Yet, as great as this experience can be, there is a difference with a Disney character. A Face character such as Cinderella and Alice is able to talk to interact while the costumed characters such as Pluto and Goofy typically do not speak. However, this is set to change soon. Disneyland Park is testing a new meet-and-great Mickey that would talk to visitors! Typically, Mickey usually is heard during shows and parades but recently Disney has been experimenting with a character that is able to interact with the guests. The new Mickey face will be able to blink his eyes and move his mouth. According to the character will not be the only one with a makeover, but so will Goofy and Minnie Mouse. According to “So far, the talking Mickey is available only in Mickey's House in Toontown, and at selected, unannounced times.” So next time you are at the Park, keep your eyes open, as you may be able to talk to your favorite Mouse.
